Chris Coyier has 50, out of approximately one (1) infinite number, great reasons to build a website. A bit cheeky, sometimes serious, just as the web should be.

It’s maybe a bit ironic to be extolling the virtues of hand crafting a website on yet another platform like Leaflet but I don’t think they need to be mutually exclusive. There’s a place for all kinds of websites! Where we get ourselves into trouble is just signing on to one of the few megaplatforms with all of their screwy incentives and no way to exert control or ownership.

Which I think means I gotta go reboot my blog.
